IG BUILDERS IS INCORPORATED AT INTEGRA OFFICE HEADQUARTERS
At IG Builders, we are committed to contribute in the preservation of our environment and have adopted environmentally responsible practices and technologies into our projects, including our own office headquarters. The growth of our group brought the opportunity to search for an interior environment that complies with the sustainability principles we adopt in our projects. Also, we sought after our team members’ comfort by incorporating ergonomic strategies, preserving indoor air quality, providing an open space for all design teams to collaborate easily, and selecting a site near public transportation stops, recreational facilities and community services.
Being a corporation committed to servicing its Clients in a superior way, IG Builders maintains first class facilities, equipped with the latest in technology, allowing the professionals involved to create better design with more productive tools. Our San Juan office is located in the heart of the financial district of San Juan. It is a 6,000+ sq. ft. space with ample parking. It is designed to accommodate a staff over 50. Some additional features of our Headquarters include: Technical Library, Corporate Intranet, Design Workshop and GIS Laboratory.

Quality Assurance
OUR QA/QC PRACTICES ENABLE US TO INCORPORATE UNIFORMITY AND RELIABILITY INTO THE FINAL PRODUCT REDUCING PRONENESS FOR CHANGE ORDERS
Our technical team allocates time within each project’s schedule to perform a plan audit. This procedure consists of a thorough cross-checking and coordination procedure aimed at identifying ambiguities, unnecessary repetitions, missing information, or incorrect data within the construction documents. They include checking for discrepancies in drawings, schedules, finishes, detailing, and other technical information. It also verifies for inconsistencies in the Project Manual, Instructions to Bidders, Contract for Construction, and other procedural information.
If an error/non conformity is found in the construction documents, we engage in the following remedial actions:
Corrective Action:
Immediate action to inform the originator of the document (e.g. drawing) about the error and what can be done to rectify the matter. Consequently, it would be given follow-up in the next review to ensure the correction.
A proactive approach to avoid similar errors in the future. This includes a collective discussions and brain storming sessions.
Another important aspect regarding QA/QC practices is risk management, since in construction projects they are typically financial in nature. Therefore, risk assessment is crucial early in the project to establish budget parameters within which the project must be completed. The calculation of project contingencies should be based on an assessment of the risk surrounding the project.
As risks are mitigated, contingencies can be reduced and the rage of estimated final cost can be narrowed. In addition, threat / vulnerability assessment and risk analysis can be applied to any facility and/or organization, and IG Builders will do so, accordingly.
These QA/QC practices give us the opportunity to better manage the quality of the documents going out of the office. They incorporate uniformity and reliability into the final product and reduce the chances of change orders during construction. IG Builders is confident that the quality approach taken in each project will result in more controlled and successful endeavor.
